3. "Hey Siri" Support: You could activate Siri hands-free by saying "Hey Siri" with these AirPods, allowing you to control music playback, make calls, ask questions, and more without needing to tap on the earbuds.

4. Improved Battery Life: The second-generation AirPods offered up to 5 hours of listening time and 3 hours of talk time on a single charge. With the wireless charging case, you could get multiple charges for a total of over 24 hours of listening time or 18 hours of talk time.

5. Quick Pairing: These AirPods were designed to pair quickly with your Apple devices as soon as you opened the case near them, thanks to the H1 chip.

6. Voice Accelerometer: The H1 chip also included a voice accelerometer that detected when you were speaking, improving call quality and voice recognition.
